The return of home lessons is not without consequences on sites dedicated to education. Those of the CNED and MonLycée are experiencing strong disturbances on Tuesday, in particular linked to a cyberattack.
In the case of the CNED site and the Ma Classe system at home (school, college and high school), the Minister of National Education Jean-Michel Blanquer warns that the site was “the victim of a computer attack from the ‘foreign’, in order to prevent the server from dealing with the influx of users.
Over-solicited, the site is therefore very slow on Tuesday. “Fortunately, not everyone is impacted by this problem and some can access My Class at Home and this should return to order during the day,” explained the Minister.
The Ile-de-France region concerned
As for MonLycee.net, the Ile-de-France region is particularly affected. The regional council, which manages the secondary schools in Ile-de-France, said that the technical service provider is now hard at work “to remedy it, despite the preventive request that had been made”.
The servers of this site depend in part on the OVH data center in Roubaix (Nord). Many companies and data related to public administration depend in particular on this data center.
