To continue to meet the needs of patients, the French Blood Establishment (EFS) is organizing a blood drive in the town.
It will take place on Friday, by appointment, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at Espace Bel-Air. Registrations are made by connecting to dondesang.efs.sante.fr, “online appointment” section.
To donate, you just need to be between 18 and 70 years old, weigh at least 50 kg and present proof of identity. It remains possible to donate blood, even after an injection of the Covid-19 vaccine, without any postponement period to be observed.
As for people, having presented symptoms of Covid-19, they must respect a deadline of 28 days after the disappearance of the symptoms.
The EFS recalls that there is no risk of transmission of Covid-19 by transfusion and that all health measures are implemented at the sampling site: wearing a mask compulsory, distancing and reinforced hygiene measures . Donors are asked not to come accompanied by a person not donating blood. Obtain a certificate by checking the box “assistance to vulnerable people”, if the return home is after 7 pm.
