On April 15 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, the Latin American Music Awards gala will be held and the singer Pitbull will be present, who will be the only Cuban musician present at the event.
So far it is known that the Cuban will perform alongside Juanes, Ricky Martin, and David Bisball, so the uncertainty about seeing this group of celebrities shine grows every day.
Other artists such as Wisin, Yandel, Manuel Turizo and Ziggy Marley are on the list of performers who will take the stage of the BB&T Center coliseum, in Sunrise, for the sixth edition of this installment.
The organization of these awards gave the scoop that in the United States they will be broadcast by the Hispanic network Telemundo, but also reported that Carrie Underwood, a seven-time Grammy winner, and the Spaniard Bisbal, will debut on that stage singing “Tears of gold”. which is nominated in the Favorite Video category.
On the other hand, Carlos Vives, Karol G, Maluma, Banda MS by Sergio Lizárraga, Camilo, Gerardo Ortiz, Nicky Jam and Mike Towers will also be present with their unique shows.
For this award, the Colombian Karol G has equaled her compatriot J Balvin in number of nominations, followed by Bad Bunny (with 8), Ozuna (7) and Anuel AA and Camilo (each with 6).
The ex-reggaeton of Anuel AA, is the first woman to top the list of nominees for a Hispanic music award since 2006, when her compatriot Shakira was the one who most led categories of the Latin Grammys.
There will be two special awards already known first hand. First, the Venezuelan José Luis Rodríguez, “El Puma”, will receive the Legend Award and will offer a special presentation that will include some of his most recent songs and his hits from yesteryear.
The other special recognition will be for the Puerto Rican Ozuna who will be recognized with the Extraordinary Evolution Award.
