Rangers fans react to Scott Wright’s latest performance – EzAnime.net

The Rangers reached the fourth round of the Scottish Cup by beating the Cove Rangers 4-0 on Sunday afternoon, and will now face Celtic in the next round.

The Gers were expected to advance through the game and avoid a cup surprise, having seen the Cove Rangers ditch the Hearts in the final round of the competition.

The Rangers were on top throughout, taking the lead when Jermain Defoe fired home a long-range attack, before Kemar Roofe added a quick swing.

Nathan Patterson added a quarter while capitalizing on the weak defense to give the Rangers victory within the first half, and the tee shot and Old Firm derby in the next round.

He may not have made the roster, but winger Scott Wright made a big impact when he made his first start with the Rangers since arriving from Aberdeen in January.

The 23-year-old is seen as an ideal competition on the flanks, and his performance, no doubt against lower league rivals, left Gers fans absolutely raving about it.

Many Rangers fans compared Wright to former Gers hero Brian Laudrup for his style of play, and believe the club is on track to win if he is half the player.

Others think that Wright is an absolute bargain and cannot believe that Aberdeen has allowed him to get away from such a great rival.
