The Rangers reached the fourth round of the Scottish Cup by beating the Cove Rangers 4-0 on Sunday afternoon, and will now face Celtic in the next round.
The Gers were expected to advance through the game and avoid a cup surprise, having seen the Cove Rangers ditch the Hearts in the final round of the competition.
The Rangers were on top throughout, taking the lead when Jermain Defoe fired home a long-range attack, before Kemar Roofe added a quick swing.

Nathan Patterson added a quarter while capitalizing on the weak defense to give the Rangers victory within the first half, and the tee shot and Old Firm derby in the next round.
He may not have made the roster, but winger Scott Wright made a big impact when he made his first start with the Rangers since arriving from Aberdeen in January.
The 23-year-old is seen as an ideal competition on the flanks, and his performance, no doubt against lower league rivals, left Gers fans absolutely raving about it.

Many Rangers fans compared Wright to former Gers hero Brian Laudrup for his style of play, and believe the club is on track to win if he is half the player.
Others think that Wright is an absolute bargain and cannot believe that Aberdeen has allowed him to get away from such a great rival.

Am I the only one who gets serious vibes from Laudrup with Wright? Something about the way he runs, maybe the hair.

I thought the same, something about the way she moves and maybe her hair. If you have a fraction of Laudrup’s ability, we are in for a winner.

Scott Wright behaves like Laudrup.
If he becomes half the player Brian was, we’ll have made another fantastic deal.– ???????????????????????????? Davie ???????? (@ coplandrear4) April 4, 2021

I’m not getting ahead of myself here, but Scott Wright was running down that wing like Brian Laudrup, let’s get closer to the player, then he bursts into another gear and leaves.

Strange, I was just thinking it reminds me of Laudrup

It’s the hair, right? Or maybe the incredible talent. However, definitely the hair.
