If things had gone according to plan, the first round of the weightlifting Bundesliga should have been held next Saturday, but due to the corona pandemic, the championship start in Austria’s highest competition class had already been postponed to May 8 a few days ago. In the meantime, a new date has been set for the start of the season: April 24th, unless there are new regulations from the federal government.
