But unlike Chavela, I come from a beautiful home, with a loving mom and dad, there are good relationships with my brothers, and now with my husband and my children. And I will always want to return to where I was born, unlike Chavela, who only returned to Costa Rica once, when she was older, and wanted to leave as quickly as possible. “

Regarding the singer’s loneliness, Bottina affirms that the musical, therefore, he shows almost permanently his Chavela with the other two: the girl (Ana Sofía González) and the adult (Carmenza Gómez), “as if they supported each other, because they are the only thing they have.”.

Her young Chavela is that of “the hardest stage, when she made the most difficult decisions with a chisel and hammer.”
