According to our information, the video was recently made at the station of the student city of Louvain-la-Neuve. The NMBS could not yet confirm this, but says it is investigating the images. “It’s about disrespectful and unsafe behavior,” explains spokesperson Bart Crols. “We strongly condemn this.” When asked whether such incidents have been reported before, he says diplomatically: “Fortunately, that rarely happens.”

On Tuesday, the police also had to chase 1,500 young people away from Lake Louvain-la-Neuve – where they took advantage of the beautiful weather, but there were also drunken riots. And on Thursday, a corona party with about fifty students was stopped in an apartment in the same Walloon-Brabant city.
