Traffic – Munich – Chase on the A9 ends with a traffic accident – Bavaria

Munich (dpa / lby) – A young driver was chasing the police on Easter Sunday night on the A9. On the drive from Ingolstadt to Munich, the 20-year-old was walking in a serpentine line and hit the guardrails several times on both sides, the police said. Accordingly, several police patrols had great difficulty stopping the driver. A spokesman said a helicopter was also in use. It was only when he collided head-on with the car of a 57-year-old in Munich’s Schwabing district that his journey came to an end. Both parties involved in the accident were reportedly taken to hospital with minor injuries. There was damage to property amounting to around 25,000 euros. The police ordered a blood sample from the driver, said a spokesman.
