But no Elinda not only triumphed on the stage and in the 35MM format, then she joined television, where she participated in numerous theater, teleplays and soap operas such as: El Chino, Pasión y prejuicio, La otra cara, No parqueo, Ana and many others.

“What a pleasure and what an honor to receive Eslinda Núñez, one of the greatest actresses in Cuba! What enjoyment to talk and learn through her, beautiful and interesting anecdotes of her life. Thank you Eslinda for joining us and giving us all your stories in such a warm and enjoyable way. Thank you dear Fernando Pérez, for always accompanying me in these meetings, thank you for your wisdom! ”Milanés wrote on his Facebook profile.

In this dialogue Elinda spoke, she remembered her beginnings and told some anecdotes to Pablo Milanés’ daughter, such as how she began her romance with the filmmaker Manuel Herrera, who ended up being her husband.

“I became a girlfriend of Manolito when I was 14 years old and we got married pretty quickly. I was on edge, I remember. We got married at the Hotel Modelo in Santa Clara and it was time, the wedding was at 5pm in the afternoon and he arrived at 6pm … I had already cried, you could imagine but we finally got married ”, the actress said with grace.

She stressed that since her childhood she believed that she was going to be a painter because she won competitions and did it very well, however, when she met the world of theater in Havana, “and I found support in Malono, in Raúl Molina and I went to do a test in an academy in Havana, I stayed and started taking classes and I discovered that world, improvising and I got my first applause ”, he said.

Haydeé was very entertained with Elinda’s story and also received hundreds of messages and comments of support for this Saturday initiative, where it becomes a window for Cuban artists and cultists.
