The vaccination against Covid-19 does not completely eliminate
the risk of contamination, which justifies maintaining travel restrictions for vaccinated people, decided on Board of state in an order published this Friday, April 2.

“Vaccinated people can still carry the virus”
The highest French administrative court considers that, however effective the vaccination, which still affects only a small fraction of the most vulnerable people, it does not completely eliminate the possibility that the vaccinated people remain carriers of the virus

However, to this day, the effect of vaccination in reducing the circulation of the virus is not achieved, in some countries […] only by a sufficient level of vaccination in the whole population
.
This is not yet the case in France, where vaccinated people can remain carriers of the virus and thus contribute to the spread of the epidemic, to an extent that is difficult to quantify at this stage, which therefore does not allow us to affirm that only the practice of barrier gestures would sufficiently limit this risk
