France and Germany are concerned about the increase in ceasefire violations, while the situation had stabilized since July 2020 in eastern Ukraine. We reaffirm our support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders. As mediators within the Normandy format, France and Germany are continuing their efforts for the full implementation of the Minsk agreements and negotiations are continuing regularly to this end.
In this regard, we welcome the renewal of the mandate of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (MSOU) and call for an end to restrictions on its freedom of movement, so that the MSOU can carry out its mission in accordance with its mandate. mandate.
