The Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia for Vanimo, Papua New Guinea, admitted that he only learned of Governor Lukas Enembe’s presence in Vanimo last Thursday (01/04/2021). Meanwhile, Lukas is thought to have been in Papua New Guinea since Wednesday.
The consulate said the Governor of Papua had violated the rules because he entered another country illegally.
The Minister of Home Affairs has issued a warning letter to the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe, who did not travel abroad through the mechanisms as regulated by the laws and regulations.

The Ministry of Home Affairs reminded that it would impose sanctions on Governor Lukas Enembe if he again committed a similar violation.
