A few weeks ago we told you that there was very little left for xCloud to come to iOS. And everything indicates that its launch will be sooner rather than later. This time it was Phil Spencer who pointed this out on Twitter, responding directly to a user who had asked him about this issue. As we already mentioned, last month the tests began to bring xCloud to iOS. Something that always precedes the final release. Although at the moment we do not know approximate or final release dates, Microsoft does not forget about iOS and maintains its plan to launch xCloud on this platform.

Considering Microsoft’s strategy for the future, it would not be surprising if xCloud saw the light of day on iOS in a very short time. Allowing iPhone and iPad users to enjoy all that the Xbox cloud has to offer; Xbox Game Pass Ultimate catalog included. Microsoft’s strategy has changed for several years. Having left the classic console model behind, the company is determined to try to reach those 3 billion potential players in the world. And xCloud plays a crucial role in this, by allowing mobile and tablet users to access Microsoft services. Users that make up a huge portion of that market.
As if this weren’t enough, iOS users will also be able to enjoy MLB The Show 21. The first PlayStation Studios game to be released on Xbox Game Pass, surprising both Sony and Microsoft users.
