An injured car driver and 5,000 euros in property damage are the results of a traffic accident on Tuesday at 8:20 a.m. at the intersection of uerer Ring / Bundesstrae 8. The 30-year-old driver of a Mercedes turned left at the intersection in the direction of Wrzburg. This happened in such a tight arc that she drove head-on into an Opel Mocca. Due to the traffic, this waited in the left-turn lane from Bundesstrae 8 to Sdring.
According to the police report, the person who caused the accident was taken to the hospital in Lohr with minor injuries. Both vehicles had to be towed. The Marktheidenfeld fire brigade took care of traffic control and protection of the accident site.
