The fifth generation of the Mercedes C-Class debuts on Italian market. The German sedan, which features all electrified 4-cylinder units (Mild Hybrid and Plug-in), will arrive in dealerships during the summer.

The car is available in the Business, Sport, Premium, Sport Plus, Premium Plus and Premium Pro versions. The first version was designed by Mercedes for professional customers and includes standard LED headlights, 17-inch wheels, fabric interiors, the latest generation MBUX system with 11.9-inch central display and digital instrumentation with screen. 12.3 inch. The Sport, on the other hand, can count on the AVANTGARDE package for interiors and exteriors which adds, among other things, seats made of ARTICO and fabric.
The Premium version offers the AMG Line package for both interiors and exteriors. We find, for example, tinted windows and ARTICO leather seats. Going up the level, the Sport Plus trim level offers the DIGITAL LIGHT system and the package as standard Tech pack which includes Blind spot assist, memory heated front seats, premium ambient lights, Keyless Go, 360 degree parking package, navigator and augmented reality.
The Premium Plus version is characterized by offering AMG Line interiors and exteriors as well as offering the technological solutions of the Tech pack package. Finally, the Premium Pro version offers the Luxury pack package which in addition to what is offered by the Tech pack adds the Burmester 3D sound system, the Head-up Display, the music streaming function, the automatic tri-zone climate control and the Panorama roof.
Customers will, of course, be able to customize their cars by drawing on an extensive catalog of accessories. Prices in Italy start at € 50,990 for the sedan version of the E 200 Mild Hybrid Business. About 1,500 euros more are spent on the Station Wagon variant.

At launch, the new Mercedes C-Class, also Station Wagon, will only be able to count on the following Mild Hybrid petrol and diesel units.
- 220 d Mild hybrid: 147 kW / 200 CV – 440 Nm (15 kW / 20 CV boost)
- 300 d Mild hybrid: 196 kW / 265 CV – 550 Nm (15 kW / 20 CV boost)
- 200 Mild hybrid: 150 kW / 204 CV – 300 Nm (15 kW / 20 CV boost)
Subsequently, the other engines already announced during the launch of the new model will arrive.
