In addition to the new phones, Xiaomi presented something particularly interesting at her last event. It was able to develop a special wireless charger, which Apple tried to develop, but failed. Xiaomi has just introduced two new wireless chargers. The faster one is called Mi Wireless Charging Stand Set and can charge phone speeds up to 80W. This is a very respectable value for a wireless charger, but the second model hides another peculiarity. The second introduced wireless charger from Xiaomi proved what Apple has already given up. The oval-shaped charger can charge three devices at once. No matter where it lies on the mat. The basic idea is therefore the same as for the infamous Apple AirPower. This is a product that Apple has promised for a very long time, but never ended up on the market. According to available information, Apple engineers were unable to cope with overheating.

Like AirPower, the new product from Xiaomi contains a large number of induction coils. Specifically 19 coils can charge up to three devices at a speed of 20W at the same time. Xiaomi has placed a motor inside the wireless charger to ensure that the coils are positioned accurately relative to the devices being charged. This is probably the main difference from Apple’s solution. Xiaomi claims that this wireless charger was created two years ago and its development began after the abolition of Apple AirPower. So the development was also not easy at all. Xiaomi wireless charger for three devices will go on the market for 90 USD (approx. 2000CZK).
