Epidemiological report:

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), 17,864 analyzes were carried out today and 1,664 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected. Of the 1,664 new cases, 980 are from Montevideo, 206 from Canelones, 108 from Rivera, 65 from Cerro Largo, 48 from Maldonado, 46 ​​from Río Negro, 39 from Paysandú, 35 from Soriano, 28 from Lavalleja, 19 from Artigas, 19 from Treinta y Tres, 16 from Colonia, 16 from Salto, 12 from Florida, 8 from Flores, 7 from Rocha, 6 from Tacuarembó, 5 from San José and 1 from Durazno. In all cases, strict epidemiological monitoring is carried out.

Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 1,352,934 tests have been processed and 102,461 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 81,438 have already been recovered.

Today 25 deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed in our country. This is 1 patient from Salto, 91 years old, 1 patient from Paysandú, 77 years old, 1 patient from Cerro Largo, 77 years old, 1 patient from Río Negro, 53 years old, 1 patient from Tacuarembó, 73 years old, 1 patient from 30 years old. Three 22-year-olds, 1 patient from Soriano aged 88, 2 patients from Rivera aged 89 and 82, 4 patients from Canelones aged 81, 75, 60 and 49 years old, and 12 patients from Montevideo aged 95, 83, 82, 81 , 78, 77, 62, 61, 57, 51, 35 and 27 years. So far there are 953 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.

There are currently 20,070 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 331 of them are in intensive care.

Of the total confirmed positive cases, 4,774 correspond to health personnel. 4,146 of them have already recovered, 621 are suffering from the disease and 7 have died.

As of today, the 19 departments have active cases.

CLARIFICATION:

The total of confirmed positive cases until yesterday was 99,584. Today 1,664 new cases and a total of 102,461 confirmed positive cases are reported. The difference is explained because 1,213 cases reported out of date by laboratories were included according to the tables attached below (source: MSP), and on the other hand, because 22 cases were eliminated.
