As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio during “23” on Sky Sport, in recent months Milan has delivered to Raiola a first offer for the renewal of the contract, for Gigio Donnarumma, worth 6 million euros (+1 linked to qualification in the Champions League). The offer was returned to the sender and AC Milan consequently relaunched with a five-year net worth 7 million (+1 bonus, always linked to the landing in the top European competition). Raiola, however, asks about 12 million euros and is waiting to find out what the future intentions – at project level – of the club in via Aldo Rossi are. The agent, in fact, would like his client to play regularly in the Champions League. The negotiation is currently on standby: in the last few days there have been no contacts between the two parties.
Milan remain calm, aware of having made an important offer, in line with the current market. The hope remains that Donnarumma understands the situation and renews. But not for just one year, as proposed by Raiola. An option that is not taken into consideration by the Rossoneri. Donnarumma’s ambition is to finally make his debut in the Champions League and play there permanently, which is why he would also renew for 1 or 2 years, to better understand later if Milan will have ambition to build a Champions League team.
