After AIA, now it is the turn for Prudential customers to open their voices

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – After the AIA customer opens their vote, now it is PT Prudential Life Assurance’s turn to experience a similar incident.

Housewife (IRT) from Bandar Lampung, Maria Trihartati shared her disappointment. He admitted that he had joined and been a Prudential customer for 6.5 years and apparently did not give the right results.

“The monthly premium is Rp 350 thousand, the money has come in around Rp 27 million, back Rp 9.2 million,” he told CNBC Indonesia in Jakarta, Monday (29/3/2021).

He had visited the agent who was the intermediary when he joined Prudential. Unfortunately, the agent is no longer working for Prudential.

“In fact, I was advised for up to 10 years, later in the 11th year the money will be returned according to the premium,” he said.

Maria explained that one of the reasons she joined Prudential was the lure of education insurance. “Whereas at Prudential there is no education insurance, it is included in life insurance,” he said.

Finally he took steps to visit the Jakarta Legal Aid Institute (LBH). According to the plan, along with several other victims, Maria and her representatives will visit LBH Jakarta on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at around 13.00 WIB. He has several hopes regarding his steps to visit LBH Jakarta.

Maria added that those who would come to LBH were victims of 3 insurances, namely AXA Mandiri, AIA Financial, and Prudential. The call to visit LBH was voiced through the Forum on social media Facebook.

“Hopefully LBH will fight for us. How to protect consumers. If selling is not clear, the policy will be canceled. Hopefully LBH will defend, the money will return,” he said.

“Second, hopefully there will be no more victims. Third, remove the unitlink,” he concluded.

CNBC Indonesia is trying to clarify with Kamelia Mohamad Head of Corporate Communications of PT Prudential Life Assurance.
