The National Police has detained in Zaragoza a 28-year-old by labor intrusion. The arrest occurred at 07:45 after finishing the night shift as a nurse in a hospital in the Aragonese capital.
The young man performed nursing work in a hospital center lacking of the college degree required, where he had been hired after managing to deceive the hospital staff service. It was not the first time that he did it since had worked in Gijón and Barcelona with a modus operandi similar.
He took advantage of the lack of health personnel derived from the pandemic and applied for the position of a nurse. For it provided photocopies of the university degree and collegiate card; all forged. Both the University that supposedly granted the title, and the nursing school to which it seemed to be enrolled corroborated the suspicions of the Judicial Police agents and in both cases they could prove that they were forgeries.
Once the supposed nurse entered the health staff, he took advantage of their services to subtract effects from patients, as well as their own companions from the hospital center and even computer equipment property of the hospital itself, which is why he was charged with the crimes of robbery, theft and fraud. The arrested man had worked in two centers in Zaragoza and, in both, various robberies occurred while he was on duty. After testifying before the judge, he was put on freedom.
