Xiaomi Mi 11 lite: slim waist and frames around the display
Both the 4G and 5G variants look exactly the same from the outside, you will probably recognize them only by different color variants – the basic Mi 11 lite will go on sale in black, blue and pink, while the Mi 11 lite 5G will be available in black, green and yellow. Both phones impress mainly with their thin lines – they have only 6.81 mm at the waist and weigh only 157, resp. 159 grams. Both sides should be covered with durable glass, the manufacturer does not mention increased resistance.
The front of both phones is filled with a 6.55 ”AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution. The display boasts accurate color display, supporting the DCI-P3 color gamut with a 10-bit depth, making the display capable of displaying more than 1 billion colors. The refresh rate of the display is 90 Hz, the touch is evaluated at a frequency of 240 Hz. The display attracts with its symmetrical frames, which have a thickness of 1.88 mm on all sides. The visual experience will be disturbed only by the hole for the selfie camera in the upper left corner, which has a resolution of 16 Mpx for the Xiaomi Mi 11 lite, and 20 Mpx for the 5G variant.
The camera on the back is the same for both phones. It consists of a total of three separate cameras with the following configuration:

Xiaomi boasts of optimizing cameras for poor lighting conditions, as well as special video recording modes. Sound recording is provided by a pair of microphones, and stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio certification are prepared for loud listening.
With or without 5G?
Xiaomi Mi 11 lite is a smartphone of the upper middle class, under the hood of which you will find a “seven” Snapdragon – for the 4G variant it is 8nm Snapdragon 732G, for the 5G version fresh 5nm Snapdragon 780. With the latter you get not only 5G support but also higher performance, better efficiency, support for more modern wireless networking standards (Wi-Fi 6 vs. Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2 vs. Bluetooth 5.1) and, last but not least, NFC for contactless mobile payments; for the 4G variant, NFC is missing according to the specifications.
