DOHA – Lenovo Ducati Team racer, Jack Miller had to settle for ending the race MotoGP Qatar 2021 is in ninth place. He, who started the race from fifth position, was thrown far away.
According to Miller’s explanation, there were reasons that made him fail to perform optimally in the 2021 MotoGP opening race which took place at the Losail Circuit, Qatar on Monday (29/3/2021) in the morning WIB.
Miller argued that he failed to perform optimally because of a problem in the rear tire. It was because of a tire problem that he felt in the middle of the Qatar series race that finally Miller could not keep up with the riders who were at the forefront.
In fact, Miller was able to start the race very well by being in the lead rider group. However, because of the problem with the rear tire, Miller’s position was slowly getting scattered.
“Unfortunately, after a good start, I started having problems with the rear towards the middle of the race, and I had to manage it until the end,” Miller said, launching from the official Ducati website, Monday (29/3/2021).
“I felt very comfortable when I was third and hoped to attack the people who were in front of me towards the end of the race. However, it turns out that the plan didn’t work out like that, “added the rider from Australia.
Even though he was disappointed, Miller still felt grateful to be able to finish in ninth position. Because Miller considered at least he was able to bring home the points rather than not getting any points at all in the race.
Furthermore, Miller will try to learn what are the deficiencies that have occurred to the Desmosedici GP21 motorbike at the Losail Circuit.
Armed with the results of the Qatar GP, Miller hopes that in the second series race, which will also take place at the Losail Circuit, he can achieve better results.
The Doha 2021 MotoGP race will also take place on Monday, April 5, 2021 in the morning WIB.
