The sex game derailed and a man received life-threatening injuries. But the woman’s intention was not to kill, the Court of Appeal judges, and reduces the sentence from ten years in prison to two and a half years.
Ystad District Court judged the drunk woman’s actions as an attempted murder, while the Court of Appeal instead convicted her of aggravated assault, reports Ystads allehanda. The awarded damages are reduced from SEK 130,000 to SEK 78,000.-
The Court of Appeal does not consider it proven that the woman dealt a blow to the man’s body, but rather scratches and stings. But at the same time, the court finds that the assault contained elements of life-threatening violence.
