The Final at 8 o’clock European Women’s Roller Hockey League (Female League Cup) will be played from May 27 to 30 in Palau-solità i Plegamans, as announced this Monday by European Rink Hockey Committee (WSE-Rink Hockey).
The WSE-RH has confirmed the headquarters proposed by the Royal Spanish Skating Federation and the Generali HC Palau, the organizing club, has sent all the required information with the support and endorsement of the local council.
Besides of Generals Palau, current runner-up, four other Spanish teams will participate in the Final 8 of the Women’s European League: the CP Voltregà Stern Motor, last champion, the Telecable Gijón, which also aspired to organize the competition, the CP Magic Studio Manlleu and the Cerdanyola CH. Along with them will also compete three Portuguese teams: Sport Lisboa and Benfica, Stuart Hoquei Massama and the Clube Atlético Campo de Ourique (CACO).
A few days ago, the WSE-RH also announced that the Men’s European League It will take place in the Portuguese city of Luso, a town in the municipality of Mealhada proposed by the Portuguese Skating Federation (FPP), which will cede its organization to the Association of European Clubs (EHCA), of which the 9 participating teams are part. The first phase will take place from April 9 to 11 and Final 4 on May 15 and 16.
Group A of the first phase will be formed by Freixenet girl, the Porto and the Barcelos; in B will be the Sporting Lisbon, the Reus Deportiu Miró and the Oliveirense; and in C the Barça, the Benfica and the Sports Lyceum.
