Three days of competition are on the program for this 2021 edition of the Tour d’Eure-et-Loir, which will be held from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 May 2021, on the roads of Eure-et-Loir.
Canceled in 2020 following the Covid-19 pandemic, the Tour d’Eure-et-Loir can normally take place this year, in strict compliance with sanitary rules.
The Tour d’Eure-et-Loir is an international event ofInternational Cycling Union which is on the Europe Tour calendar.
Runners from all over the world
A twenty teams will compete as indicated by the organizing committee: “Pro Teams, Pro Continentals, as well as French National 1 teams”.
The best foreign continental teams will be present on a selective circuit drawn as close as possible to the limits of the department.
The presentation of the teams, coming from eleven countries like Norway, Poland, New Zealand, Austria, Great Britain, Slovakia, Kazakhstan and Canada will be held before the big departure, at 2 p.m.
Here are the three stages of the Tour d’Eure-et-Loir 2021:
- The first step, the Friday, May 14, 2021, afternoon: 120.4 kms, departure from Illiers-Combray at 3:15 p.m. and arrival at Châteaudun around 6 p.m.
- The second step, Saturday 15 May 2021 : 187.2 kms, departure from Courville-sur-Eure at 12:05 p.m. and arrival at Dreux around 4:15 p.m.
- The last step, Sunday 16 May 2021 : 196.3 kms, departure from Bonneval at 11:30 a.m. and arrival at Chartres around 3:45 p.m.
Activities will also be offered upstream of the stages.
