Three people were detained in Kiev on suspicion of involvement in the kidnapping and murder of a 37-year-old volunteer and activist.
This was reported in press service Kiev city prosecutor’s office. It is noted that according to the materials of the investigation, on March 24, 2021, the detainees allegedly held the victim in his apartment and hit various parts of the body.
After that, he was forced into a car and taken out in an unknown direction.

“Having received information from relatives of the victim about his disappearance, the law enforcement officers immediately began to search for him. the District Prosecutor’s Office managed to identify and detain the probable abductors, “the statement says.
The press service noted that the abducted was killed and his body was hidden in an abandoned ditch in the Kiev region.
“On Sunday, March 28, the body of the deceased with multiple injuries, including stab wounds, was found. Experts are establishing the cause of death and the mechanism of causing injuries,” the prosecutor’s office said.
They added that the motive for the crime and possible accomplices are being established.
