The CGT calls on the staff of the Drôme Nord hospitals to gather on Monday at the Romans site to denounce the announced elimination of 133 positions. Unacceptable deletions in these times of health crisis believes the union.
A gradual return to normal says management
Management does not dispute these figures. Ultimately, there will be 133 positions eliminated, but these 133 positions correspond to the reinforcement put in place during the health crisis at the height of the epidemic last November. There are now only one hundred additional positions which will be gradually eliminated when the health crisis recedes to return to the usual staff of Drôme Nord hospitals, explains Vincent Pégeot, the director.
There was a lack of personnel before the health crisis. Thierry Giraud, CGT assistant secretary at Drôme Nord hospitals.
The union’s version is a little different: the CGT believes that management must reduce the deficit and that it uses the number of positions as an adjustment variable. According to the CGT, the deficit would be 12 million euros this year and it will be 18 million next year.
Figures that management disputes: it announces a structural operating deficit of 6 million euros.
