Certainly legitimate, even if the reassuring words of the general practitioner have arrived, who claims there will be no problems. And so far there have not been. But since Friday, Mrs. Ines Libralesso, 80 years old from Peseggia, says she is not very serene, after she received the certificate from the USL 3 of the administration of the Moderna vaccine. All good, except that in the papers that arrived home earlier there was talk of Pfizer and this has brought to mind so many doubts.
Doubts, however, which are the same as the husband Pietro Pizzato, who will go to vacinarsi tomorrow, and the daughter. “We are only asking for a little transparency,” say the elderly spouses. “Who knows if President Zaia knows stories like ours.”
A story born in recent weeks, when Mrs. Ines received an invitation to present herself on February 26 at the hospital in Noale in order to have the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. The woman shows up and returns home with a recall appointment, scheduled after three weeks. And, in fact, he comes back without any problem, since in those twenty days everything went well. The day before yesterday, however, in the letter delivered to her home, she does not read that she was given the dose of Pfizer, but of Moderna. She immediately picked up the phone to alert her doctor.
«He told me to stay calm – explains the old woman – and he reassured me. However, try to put me in my shoes. They tell you one thing and then you read another. I’m fine, I didn’t have any problems after the vaccine, but more transparency would have been enough. It was enough to tell me at the beginning that it would be Moderna instead of Pfizer and then I would have decided ».
The daughter’s fears are shared by the lady’s husband, Pietro Pizzato. «Monday (tomorrow ed) – he explains – it will be my turn and this does not reassure me completely. Have there been other cases like my wife’s? ‘
In recent weeks, many have claimed to know which vaccine had been given to them and from which batch. A request that became even more pressing after the temporary suspension of AstraZeneca decided by AIFA and the withdrawal of some batches on which there were suspicions following cases of thrombosis. All returned in a few days, after the green light to the Anglo-Swedish serum.
The fact is that the request for transparency has remained intact.
