A frontal impact involving two cars occurred this Sunday at the end of the afternoon, shortly before 6 p.m., on the D16, on the section connecting the municipalities of Audun-le-Tiche and Aumetz. It is difficult, for the time being, to determine the exact circumstances of the accident, but it seems that, following the sudden braking of a first car, a second has shifted to the left lane, hitting the oncoming vehicle.

Three wounded
One of the drivers was alone on board while in the other vehicle were two people.
The three victims, who presented minor injuries, were taken care of by the Audun-le-Tiche firefighters dispatched to the site and transported to the Bel-Air hospital in Thionville for check-ups.
The gendarmes of the Audun-le-Tiche brigade also went to the scene in order to carry out the usual findings and to regulate traffic.
Particularly accident-prone, this departmental section is regularly the scene of road accidents.
