The Diemel Cycle Path was once again awarded four stars by the General German Bicycle Club. However, the intermunicipal cooperation is increasingly scratching the five-star mark, which remains the goal.

Receiving an award is something special because it underlines the high quality of a product, says Norbert Hoffmann. “Maintaining this excellent quality, however, and even improving it, requires great commitment,” says the head of Warburg Touristik. And so the people in charge of the Diemel-Radweg cooperation are pleased that the General German Bicycle Club (ADFC) the popular cycle route between Willingen im Upland and Bad Karlshafen an der Weser has once again been awarded four stars. “With just 0.3 points just past the five-star mark,” the cycle path along the Diemel River is one of Germany’s quality cycle paths.
