“I’m not excited about new recordings, because the quality of both the composition and the musicians of the recording is important to me, and these factors are present in the new song,” Siksna evaluates her performance.
The author of the song “Touch” is Maris Reinbergs, with whom the singer has successfully collaborated before, creating compositions “Your Voice”, “Moment More” and others. Reinbergs is also known as the author of the lyrics – one of his best-known lyrics is for the song “Poppy Flower” composed by Aivars Hermans, which was first sung by Margarita Vilcāne and Ojārs Grinbergs, but later also by Ance Krauze and Normunds Rutulis.
“I really like singers with good vocal talents, that’s why so many of my songs have been sung by Georgs, and the new song” Touch “has been written especially for his beautiful” bel canto “voice,” reveals Maris Reinbergs.
The arrangement of Georges Siksna’s new single “Touch” was created and the piano was played by Anatolijs Livča, guitarist Ēriks Upenieks, bassist Norberts Skraucis, drummer Miķelis Vīte participated in the recording, and the studio recording was directed by Edijs Gņedovskis.
