Here are the words of the pilots of the Ferrari Charles Leclerc and of Carlos Sainz at the end of qualifications of the Bahrain Grand Prix which saw them place in fourth and eighth position.
“We are probably the ones who they have improved more since last year – said Leclerc – as I said on Friday evening, we did not expect to be so competitive. This is one positive thing, but we have to stay with your feet on the ground. Here it is a rather strange race, we have to expect other events as well. “A day very positive for the team – added Sainz – I think we must all be proud of where we are today. We got caught a good scare in Q1, when the car it went out, but luckily I managed to restart it and bring it back to the pits.
