Dubai – Ouch and yuck! A bodybuilder is currently worried Instagram caused a sensation with a terrifying video in which a muscle in his chest exploded.

It hurts a lot while watching it when you watch the video by Ryan “Big Rig” Crowley (23).

The bodybuilder from the small English town of Yateley (near London) sustained a serious injury while bench pressing and published the whole thing in impressive, but also extremely unsavory videos and pictures on Instagram.

In a clip you can see the 23-year-old trying to lift a weight of no less than 220 kilograms in a fitness studio in Dubai. With enormous effort, he slowly lowers the weight bar – and then all of a sudden it bangs!

All of a sudden a muscle bursts into his right chest and you can see a big bump sticking out from under his training shirt. Ryan starts screaming loudly and has to get off the bench immediately. Fortunately, his training partners are on hand and secure the heavy weight.

As the Brit explains on Instagram, the chest tendon detached itself from his bone in the accident – that sounds extremely uncomfortable and it looks like it.

So be prepared for bad pictures in case you want to watch the Insta clip of the painful misfortune for yourself.

The next day, the 23-year-old had to undergo a four-hour operation. For two days he could not have felt his arms or legs, he writes. Besides, he would have vomited again and again because of the pain.

He was in hospital for a total of five days. Now Ryan is back home, but after the operation he can still do very little with his muscular body.

And there is another problem: the British insurance company apparently does not want to cover the cost of the expensive operation. That’s why his buddy Larry Wheels, who was directly behind Ryan in the accident, wants one with one Crowdfunding campaign Raise money to pay Ryan’s hospital bills.

In a few days, a decent donation of 38,385 US dollars (just under 32,462 euros) was raised. One can only hope that the bodybuilder will survive his “career-threatening injury” well.
