The first tests of the ACT league will take place in A Coruña in July

The male and female ACT leagues, the two most important of the drifting season, will begin the weekend of July 3 and 4 in the waters of A Coruña, according to the regatta calendar approved yesterday by the assembly of the Club Association.

The men’s competition will consist of 20 regattas that will be held from that opening date every weekend, with the exception of the first two of September for the dispute of the La Concha flag, and will conclude on September 19 as is traditional with the Flag El Corte Inglés in the Nervión estuary near Portugalete.

After the double appointment of the Bandeira Cidade da Coruña, Saturday and Sunday, the competition will pass through San Sebastián, Zierbena, Orio, Getxo, Castro Urdiales, Lekeitio, Bilbao, Santurtzi, Rianxo, Boiro, Zarautz -double day-, Ondarroa, Hondarribia, Ares, Moaña, Bermeo and Portugalete.

For its part, the Women’s League will have twelve scoring events and will conclude on the weekend of August 14 and 15 at the Ikurriña de Zarautz.

The main novelties of this edition are the increase from 18 to 20 scoring regattas in the men’s competition and the presence of the league in Galicia for three weekends instead of the usual two.
