On Friday, March 26, famous Ukrainian photographer Aleksey Ivanov died from complications caused by the coronavirus.
About death in Facebook friends of the man said. A few days earlier, he was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia.
His last days Ivanov was connected to a ventilator.
“One star less. The crown. Aleksey Ivanov has a fond memory of all journalists and photographers,” wrote Natalya Mandyuk.
She added that the photographer’s sister is now being rescued from the coronavirus. A fundraising campaign was also announced for her treatment.

As specifies “Nighttime Kiev”, in which Ivanov worked, one of his works “Castle Hill – Andriyivsky Descent” received the highest marks of the jury and the award “The best photo of the city of Kiev” in 2018.
