This Friday, a video was released on Twitter that exposed three alleged members of the Bogotá Police who had recorded themselves consuming alcoholic beverages while traveling in a vehicle in the Colombian capital. The file was leaked by the journalist of NotiCentro1 CM &, Stic Luengas, who as a question questioned the people who appear in the images and who apparently wear uniforms of the police institution.
Although you cannot see the faces of the people who appear in the video, you can see how they toast with beer bottles and ranchero music in the background, as they move along one of the streets of Bogotá, in moderate traffic .

The institution spoke out in front of the video in the voice of General Óscar Gómez Heredia, who rejected the images and said that they opened an investigation to apply the disciplinary measures in question. “It is of total repudiation for our institution. The community can rest assured that if they are police officers on active duty, we will identify them and disciplinary sanctions will be applied to correct such deplorable behaviors ”, he concluded.
Although the hypothesis that the uniforms belong to retired members of the institution is ruled out, Twitter users who responded to the original publication by journalist Stic Luengas took notice of one of the details that could help identify the police officers and their whereabouts. involved.
It is the number 12-2013, which refers to the graduation date of one of the policemen, specifically who is behind the wheel and holds the beer while driving. Other details such as the watch, ring, model of the vehicle and hairstyle in the rear-view mirror are the subject of investigation to relate the policemen who do not set an example and violate the law on Bogota’s roads.
In that sense, the Noticentro1 CM & journalist questioned the situation before the Bogotá Metropolitan Police, which responded that the events are the subject of investigation by the institution but the citizens have not yet been identified and so far they do not know if the private vehicle in who were displaced belongs to the Police or belongs to one of those involved.
