Results and Standings for Menpora Cup 2021, Persija Threatens PSM and Bhayangkara Solo Page all

KOMPAS.com – Persija Jakarta managed to get up on matchday both Menpora Cup 2021 against Borneo FC.

The Borneo FC vs Persija duel was held at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, Saturday (27/3/2021). In this match, Persija won 4-0.

The goals that led Persija to victory were scored by Marco Motta in the 45 + 4 minute, Osvaldo Haay (50 ‘), Yann Motta (66’), and Marko Simic (88 ‘).

This result is a remedy for Persija Jakarta who previously suffered defeat in the first match against PSM Makassar.

In the match which was held on Monday (22/3/2021), the team nicknamed the Kemayoran Tigers lost 0-2.

The victory over Borneo FC also opens opportunities for Marko Simic cs to pass the phase knock-out Menpora Cup 2021.

Persija Jakarta rose to third place in Group B standings with a collection of three points from two matches.

They are under PSM Makassar and Bhayangkara Solo FC who occupy the first and second positions respectively.

PSM Makassar and Bhayangkara Solo FC both collected four points from one win and one draw.

The two teams played equally strongly 1-1 in the match which was also held at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, three hours before the Borneo vs Persija match.

Meanwhile, Borneo FC, which has lost twice, is at the bottom of Group B.
