According to the Sports, the new company will stamp the back of Peixe’s shorts, a place that Unicesumar had until the end of the Brazilian Championship, when its contract was not renewed due to the marketing department’s strategy.
Therefore, only a part of the shirt remains for Alvinegro Praiano to “close” the space: the shoulder blade, where the Casa de Apostas was printed. And, even with the difficulty in the market due to the pandemic caused by the coronavirus, the marketing department runs out of time to make it happen. Santos currently has ten sponsors.

The strategy
As disclosed in the minutes of the meeting of the Management Committee published on the transparency portal, on February 22, the Unicesumar’s departure was due to strategic planning by the Santos marketing department, which saw the opportunity to profit, since the company held two regions – the front and back of the shorts.
Thus, Peixe closed with the STX, a company in the real estate market, which appears only on the front of the shorts, in addition to the new sponsor, which will be on the back – and will be announced in early April. With the joint payment of these companies, the club will achieve an increase of 37.5% in relation to what it received from Unicesumar.
