The magazine has been published since 1996, and the reason for the closure is that it is difficult to get income. Thus, “the only remaining gaming magazine in Sweden for adults disappears”, Petersson writes, and adds that the message comes despite the magazine growing on all platforms.
He writes that the people behind Swedish PC Gamer hope to be able to conduct game journalism in some other form and under a different brand.
