Lewandowski is contractually bound to FC Bayern until 2023. Whether and how it will go on with him afterwards is open. According to his own statements, he can still play for “a few years” at his current top level and the Bayern bosses trust the attacker that he is still one of the best strikers in Europe in his mid-30s. There are enough examples of this, as you can see from Cristiano Ronaldo (36), Lionel Messi (33) or Zlatan Ibrahimovic (39).
