In a recent study, Snalc, the third primary union in the department, points to the almost doubling of schools classified as priority education networks since 2009 in Perpignan. The union notes “anomalies” in the classification and calls for innovative measures to fight against the lack of social mix and promote academic success for all.
“Giving more to those who need it most.” This is the objective of the priority education networks (Rep and Rep +). Selected on the basis of social and academic success indicators, the schools included in these schemes (41 out of 58 in Perpignan) benefit, among other things, from additional credits and reduced classes, particularly in CP and CE1.
