Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia– Bukalapak finally opened a vote regarding the Rp 165.83 billion lawsuit filed by PT Harmas Jalesveva to the South Jakarta District Court.
This civil suit has case number 294 / Pdt.G / 2021 / PN JKT.SEL which was registered on March 24, 2021.
Perdana Arning Saputro, VP of Legal, Public Policy, & Regulatory Affairs Bukalapak said that Bukalapak did not use Harmas Jalesveva’s services. On the other hand, Harmas Jalesveva still has obligations that need to be fulfilled towards Bukalapak.
“For this reason, we emphasize that we will make efforts to obtain our rights and carry out legal procedures in accordance with the applicable legal corridors in Indonesia,” he said in a statement on Thursday (25/3/2021).
Previously, Bukalapak.com was sued for Rp. 165.83 billion by PT Harmas Jalesveva at the South Jakarta District Court. Also defendant in a civil case accused of illegal acts (onrechtmatige daad) is PT Leads Property Service Indonesia as the second defendant.
Harmas Jalesveva, who is known to be a property developer, has filed 14 demands, the main one is to demand material compensation from Bukalapak of Rp. 90.33 billion. Meanwhile, PT Leads Property was demanded to return the consulting fee for marketing services worth Rp 3.13 billion.
It did not stop there, the plaintiff also demanded Bukalapak and Leads Property to pay immaterial losses and other losses of Rp. 77.5 billion.
“To declare legally and worth the collateral confiscation carried out and / or placed by the South Jakarta District Court, cq.
