KOMPAS.com – Oppo officially launched Reno5 F as the last model in the Reno5 series. In Indonesia, the Reno5 F is sold at price the same as its predecessor, Reno4 F when it was first launched.
The starting price of both is IDR 4,299,000. Judging from the specifications, the Reno5 F and Reno4 F are almost the same. However, some parts have been upgraded from the previous generation. What are the differences?
Screen dimensions and design
The difference between Reno4 F and Reno5 F can be seen immediately from the front. Both carry different screen designs. Especially in the front camera hole.

The Reno4 F has two selfie camera holes. While the Reno5 F only has a single camera sensor. In terms of body dimensions, the Reno5 F is bigger.
The Reno5 F has dimensions of 7.8 mm x 73.2 mm x 160.1 mm and weighs 172 grams. Meanwhile, the Reno4 F has dimensions of 7.48 mm x 73.8 mm x 160.1 mm and weighs 164 grams.
Camera
As said before, the Reno4 F has two selfie camera holes that accommodate two sensors. Each has a resolution of 16 MP and 2 MP. While the Reno5 F is only equipped with one selfie camera with a larger resolution, which is 32 MP.
On the back side, both are equipped with four cameras with slightly different configurations.

On the Reno5 F, the four rear cameras consist of a 48 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, 2 MP macro and 2 MP mono. However, for the Reno4 F, the ultrawide camera was replaced with an 8 MP wide camera and a macro camera, replaced by a 2 MP mono camera.
Batteries and chargers
The Reno5 F is equipped with a larger 4,310 mAh battery which is supported by a fast VOOC Flash Charging 4.0 charger with 30 watts of power. Meanwhile, the Reno4 F is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery which is supported by a 18 watt Flash Charging fast charger.
Operating system
The new device, of course, runs a newer operating system. The Reno4 F, released in 2020, runs the Android 10 operating system and the ColorOS 7.2 interface. Meanwhile, the Reno5 F runs the Android 11 operating system which is coated with the ColorOS 11.1 interface.
Color variant
Both the Reno4 F and Reno5 F come in two color variants with different names. The Reno4 F is available in Matte Black and Metallic White, while the Reno5 F comes in Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple variants.
Apart from some of the differences above, specification Reno4 F and Reno5 F remain the same. Like the same screen size of 6.43 inches with Full HD Plus resolution (2,400 x 1,080) pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

The kitchen is still the same, namely the Mediatek Helio P95 which is also equipped with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 256 GB with microSD.
The rear cameras are also identical.
