Ottignies –
Corona measures are for everyone. King Philippe, for instance, took a neat seat at the window yesterday when he took the train from Brussels-Luxembourg to Ottignies in Walloon Brabant.

The place next to him remained empty, as it is nowadays. The monarch wanted to support the train crew with his outing. In addition to SNCB CEO Sophie Dutordoir, the monarch had separate conversations with a few Securail agents, counter staff, signal box staff, train guards and drivers. “Thanks to all the employees who make commuting possible and safe,” the Palace wrote on Twitter afterwards. The king did take the car for the return to Brussels.
