Zack Snyder’s Justice League has attracted nearly 2 million households to HBO Max in its premiere weekend. This is evident from figures from Samba TV.
In total, some 1.8 million American households would have watched the four-hour superhero blockbuster.
With that does Zack Snyder’s Justice League it is less than the DC film released at the end of last year Wonder Woman 84. That print, which appeared on Christmas Day, looked at 2.2 million households in the first weekend.
This can probably be explained by the fact that Wonder Woman 84 was a brand new film and has a more manageable playing time.
Director’s film Zack Snyder scores slightly better than the Marvel series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, which has captivated 1.6 million households on Disney + last weekend (a number also communicated by Disney).
Samba TV measures these viewing figures via the smart TVs of American households. How the film has fared in the rest of the world – where streaming service HBO Max is not yet active – is not yet known.
