Who will be the German champion of the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) in the 2021 season? The final of the Club Championship takes place at the weekend.

26 Bundesliga clubs from the 1st and 2nd division originally took part – eight clubs are now fighting for the big final FIFA 21-Meisterschale and thus the successor to Werder Bremen.

The following teams with two players each have qualified for the final round of the Virtual Bundesliga Club Championship:

  • VfL Bochum
  • 1. FC Cologne
  • RB Leipzig
  • FC Heidenheim
  • FC St. Pauli
  • VfL Wolfsburg
  • Borussia Monchengladbach
  • TSG Hoffenheim

The dates of the Virtual Bundesliga Club Championship at a glance:

  • Saturday, March 27th: group stage (1.30 p.m. to 10 p.m.)
  • Sunday, March 28th: ​​Final (11:30 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.)

The Club Championship is all about fame and honor – and of course the championship trophy. The most successful players will also take part in the VBL Grand Final from June 4 to 6, 2021: There will be prize money totaling 100,000 euros – a double that of the previous season. The newly crowned German champion alone will take home 40,000 euros.
