According to information to Android Police and XDA Developers Editor – in – Chief Mishaal Rahman processor and modem manufacturer Qualcomm is developing a gaming console in the style of the Nintendo Switch.
The console is reminiscent of a large phone with removable handheld control parts (just like Joy Con on the Switch) that runs Android 12. The screen is claimed to be 6.65 inches and thus a little smaller than Samsung’s large phablet Galaxy Note which is 6.7 inches , but with a resolution of “only” 1080p.
Android Police claim that Qualcomm intends to sell the game console on its own, perhaps in collaboration with mobile operators, but Mishaal Rahman claims that it is rather a reference design that other manufacturers can use as a basis for their own products.
