Traditionally in the European and Ukrainian markets, the gas price decreases after the end of the heating season. Current trends on stock exchanges and analysts’ forecasts indicate that gas prices will remain at a fairly high level in April-September this year.
“At the beginning of last week, prices for the April resource in Ukraine ranged from 7300 to 7900 UAH / thousand cubic meters. The demand for the March resource was still high, which was traded at the beginning of the week at prices of 7500 – 7900 UAH / thousand cubic meters.” – notes Zemlyansky.
