JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Good news for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The government through the Ministry of Cooperatives and UKM (Kemenkop UKM) facilitates certification registration free of charge alias free.
“Yeah right, that’s an activity at the Deputy for Micro Enterprises,” Secretary of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs Arif Rahman Hakim told Kompas.com, Tuesday (23/3/2021).
The certification that can be obtained by MSME actors for free is, registration of Food Production Certificate – Home Industry (SPP-IRT), registration of Halal Certification, registration of marks, and registration of the BPOM Food in Marketing Permit (MD).

Following are the details of the requirements so that MSME players can get the free certification, as quoted from the official Instagram account of the Ministry led by Teten Masuki, @kemenkopukm:
1. Registration of Food Production Certificate – Home Industry (SPP-IRT)
Requirements:
1. Have a Business Identification Number (NIB)
2. Have a National Identity Number (NIK)
3. Have a clear domicile address
4. Fill out the online registration form via this link
5. Have a small business capital of Rp. 1 billion and have annual sales revenue of less than Rp. 2 billion
6. Have at least 1 type of product and already have a market that has been produced continuously for 1 year
7. Have a website / social media
8. Follow the prescribed procedures in accordance with applicable provisions
9. Proposed by the Office / Association / Mentoring / Independent Micro Business Actors, as many as 50 people to be provided with Food Safety Counseling
10. Have a plan of the location of the production building
11. 1 sheet of 3×4 photographs and 4×6 as many as the number of products you want to register
2. Halal Certification Registration
Requirements:
1. Have a Business Identification Number (NIB)
2. Have a National Identity Number (NIK)
3. Have a clear domicile address
4. Fill out the online registration form via this link
5. Have a small business capital of Rp. 1 billion and have annual sales revenue of less than Rp. 2 billion
6. Have at least 1 type of product and already have a market that has been produced continuously for 1 year
7. Have a website / social media
8. Follow the prescribed procedures in accordance with applicable provisions
9. Include the product name
10. Have an SPP-IRT Certificate
11. List of products and materials used
12. Product processing
13. UMI Actor’s Statement which contains the pledge/halal of products and materials used and Halal Product Process (PPH)

3. Trademark Registration
Requirements:
1. Have a Business Identification Number (NIB)
2. Have a National Identity Number (NIK)
3. Have a clear domicile address
4. Fill out the online registration form via this link
5. Have a working capital of less than Rp. 1 billion and have annual sales revenue of less than Rp. 2 billion
6. Have at least 1 type of product and already have a market that has been produced continuously for 1 year
7. Have a website / social media
8. Follow the prescribed procedures in accordance with applicable provisions
9. Have 6 sheets of brand / label label (minimum size 2×2 cm, maximum 9×9 cm)
10. The proposed name / brand label has never been registered and does not imitate or have similarities to a mark that has been published / circulated

4. Registration of BPOM Internal Food Distribution License (MD)
Requirements:
1. Have a Business Identification Number (NIB)
2. Have a National Identity Number (NIK)
3. Have a clear domicile address
4. Fill out the online registration form via this link
5. Have a working capital of less than Rp. 1 billion and have annual sales revenue of less than Rp. 2 billion
6. Have at least 1 type of product and already have a market that has been produced continuously for 1 year
7. Have a website / social media
8. Follow the prescribed procedures in accordance with applicable provisions
9. Include the product to be tested weighing 800 grams
10. List of compositions or list of materials used including information on the origin of certain raw materials and / or BTP
11. Product processing is separate from household activities
12. Have the results of an audit of production facilities or a Risk Management Program Charter (PMR) or a Certificate of Good Processed Food Production Practices (CPPOB)
13. Power of attorney to register processed food
