New 4,851 cases of coronavirus have been identified in our country. This means that the number of people infected with COVID-19 in Bulgaria for the last 24 hours has increased compared to Monday, when they were 4,467, as well as Sunday – 943. This is also a record number of new cases since the beginning of the pandemic in us.
The number of tests performed on Tuesday was 19,869, of which 11,228 were PCR (3,056 infected) and 8,641 were antigen tests (1,795 infected). For comparison, the tests performed on Monday were 18,808, and on Sunday – 4,410.
Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours there have been 119 deaths from coronavirus, informs the Unified Information Portal. Thus, the total number of victims became 12,307.
2,571 people have been cured in the last 24 hours.
The number of patients in our country has already reached 312,741, the active cases are 60,832.
A total of 239,602 people were cured. 8,927 people were hospitalized, 729 were in the intensive care unit.
